Lenders/Creditors have until January 31st to mail out your 1099-C. You may also be able to download your 1099-C if your lender provides you with online access to this form.
If by mid to late February you have not yet received your 1099-C, we recommend you check with your lender or creditor.
The IRS also has an option to get a transcript of this documentation, but it may not be available during the standard filing period. More information can be found here.
