Retirement plan issuers have until January 31st to mail out your 1099-R. You may also be able to download your 1099-R if they provide you with online access to this form.
If by mid to late February you have not yet received your 1099-R, we recommend you check with the issuer who holds your retirement plan.
The IRS also has an option where you can get a transcript of this documentation, but it may not be available during the standard filing period. More information can be found here.
